It took 5 months, 3 surgeries and 7 weeks of daily radiation but my last xray showed no cancer. I will not know for sure until my next mammogram in January 2011. Then I need to have a mammogram every 3 months for the next 5 years. I WAS IN THE BATTLE OF MY LIFE BUT I WON. Please, please get your mammogram every year. If cought early you will, in all probability, have a successful outcome.
